Building a Moral Society: Insights from Quantum Theory, Artificial Intelligence, and Ethics

In this dialogue, An insight into how society and individuals make moral decisions is proposed. Beginning with drawing an analogy between physical phenomena such as the functioning of lasers, and the principles of artificial intelligence, a conversation is steered towards applying these scientific concepts to the societal domain. The discourse progresses to discuss the existing societal models derived from statistical physics followed by the identification of right and wrong behaviors from a societal standpoint. Different modes of decision making, such as relying on one’s preference, feelings, societal laws, majority beliefs or being self-focused are evaluated. The dialogue then veers towards devising an objective methodology for decision making that encourages moral behavior.
