This talk follows the second talk on how Bahá’u’lláh re-created the Bábi community of Baghdad: it develops the period of crisis that we alluded to but did not delve into, and it also continues Baha’u’lláh’s exile from Baghdad through Constantinople (Istanbul) and to Adrianople (Edirne). In this talk three important quotes by Shoghi Effendi on crisis and victory are going to guide our analysis of two episodes of external and internal crises,in the life of Bahá’u’lláh and what followed each of them.
