This week’s Storytelling Sundays #9: Tahirih Part One: Iráq.
Storytelling Sundays number 9 is the first of a two-part series on Tahirih’s momentous and exciting life, focusing on her birth, her childhood, her youth and marriage her her three years in Iraq, where she proclaimed the Bábí Faith before being extradited back to Persia in 1847. Next week’s presentation on Sunday 26 February will focus on the second part of Tahirih’s life after return to Persia. The two talks on Tahirih are offered in honor of International Women’s Day, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
