Martha Root #6: Royalty (1926 – 1938)

This week’s episode in “The Life of Martha Root” is episode 6: Royalty (1926 – 1938) and is devoted to the life of Queen Marie of Romania, her encounter with the Bahá’í Faith through Martha Root and her life until her passing.

This episode covers Queen Marie’s personal life in detail from her lineage as the granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Czar Alexander II, her birth and childhood, her marriage to King Ferdinand I of Romania, her heroic services during World War I and of course her discovery of the Bahá’í Faith.
