Baha’i author and former Christian minister, Wade Fransson, will lead a series titled “The Bible and The Baha’i Faith: A Religious Duty.” This series aims to help Baha’is fulfill Abdu’l-Baha’s call to understand the Bible. It also seeks to encourage friendly association with people of other faiths, particularly Christians and Jews in the Western world.
Drawing on his background as a Christian minister, Fransson will provide insights into the Bible, with the first session focusing on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Abdu’l-Baha highly valued this sermon, stating that it is the “religious duty of every Baha’i to read and comprehend the meanings of the Old and New Testaments.”
Fransson, who declared his faith in 2007, has a unique perspective from his ministerial experience, which included observing Jewish holy days. He is also the founder of a publishing company and hosts a weekly podcast.
