85 SECONDS TO DOOMSDAY: What Can We Do?
The Doomsday Clock, a well-known indicator of humanity’s risk of causing a global disaster, has been set to 85 seconds to midnight, the closest it has been since its creation by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in 1947. The current geopolitical climate has increased disunity, distrust, and hostility, causing a breakdown in protection against both external and internal threats to human rights, security, and well-being. The Bahá’í teachings offer a clear description of our current challenges and a detailed roadmap to peace and prosperity. We will discuss possible solutions and outcomes.
