Session #1 – A Bahá’í Exploration of “Islam at the Crossroads.”

Some of the topics that will be covered in the various sessions include an introduction to, «Islam at the crossroads,» the predestined end of dispensations or religions but the continuity of revelation and the renewal of faith, the problem of sectarianism fanaticism and intolerance, those will be the subjects for today, and we will also deal with in future sessions, that we should investigate the truth rather than imitate, inherit our religion with criteria by which we can recognize the truth. What are the essentials of faith shared by the various religions and what are the non-permanent aspects of religion.

We will deal briefly with Islam as the promise of the Torah and the new testament and the apparent emphasis on apparent contradictions between the three major faiths. We’ll also deal with Baha’u’llah as the promise of Islam and the fulfillment of those promises and that will continue because there’s a large subject to another session.

One common divine purpose and we will also deal with the eternal teachings the virtues the fundamentals of faith and hopefully there’ll be a session devoted entirely to questions and answers.

The discuss various objections to earlier prophets including the prophet Muhammad, similar objections to Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Bahá’í faith, the accusations of causing mischief and warring against Allah, which has meant the persecution of many of Baha’u’llah’s followers. The hope is expressed that there will be men servants and made servants of Baha’u’llah, who will speak on the secrets of the Gospel and the mysteries of the Bible and the illusions of the Quran and the explanations of the words of the Raḥmat, the Merciful. We also read that the guardian would certainly advise and even urge their friends to make a thorough study of the Quran as the knowledge of this sacred scripture is absolutely indispensable for every believer who wishes to adequately understand and intelligently read the writings of Baha’u’llah, in other words without being familiar with the Quran you’ve not really fully understood the revelation of Baha’u’llah.
