Edward Price is a former atheist from a Jewish background who became a Bahá’í in 1973 at the University of Virginia. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Psychology and Religious Studies, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National University in California, and further graduate study from Florida State University in the field of Instructional Systems Design.
His first book, The Divine Curriculum: Divine Design, Volume 1, was published in December 2015. In this book, Edward discusses the continuity of the missions of the Great Divine Educators in the Abrahamic lineage, the substance of what God has been teaching humanity for the last 4,000 years, and the goals towards which God’s education is leading humanity. His second and third books, also part of his Divine Curriculum series, which was focused on the Báb were published in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Other books in the series will present the specific missions and teachings of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and Bahá’u’lláh.
Edward has served on numerous Local Spiritual Assemblies, taught many adult classes on the Faith, given presentations at various Bahá’í schools, and been a presenter at the Parliament of World Religions, in university settings, and the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette, IL. Edward was the co-writer and producer of the film, The Gate: Dawn of the Bahá’í Faith, released in 2018, which was seen in over 500 venues and in over 20 countries and also at the Parliament of the World Religions in Toronto.
Edward has lived in Wilmette, IL since 2005.
